Emotional and Stress relieving Benefits:
When you are in touch with how you feel physically and mentally you have the clarity to set goals that fairly represent what you are actually capable of accomplishing.
It's really important to: Acknowledge yourself - you did your triathlon, Validate yourself - you did it, pick a goal for Sept tri and let's go! Challenge yourself - take the steps necessary to challenge yourself to meet your next goals. Attain your goals - meet your goals in the Sept tri!
How- Have Less Judgments towards yourself and Enjoy your summer progress towards your goals!
Stress builds over time and occurs when people try to achieve too much in too little time, or when people are not using effective time management strategies. These demands and pressures compete with one another at the same time. Something has to give, thus we set our own, subjectively defined priorities as to what we'll pay attention to, and when. Stress will negatively impact health when there is a mismatch between perceived environment demands and perceived resources available. It is how we respond to the stress that matters!
This brand is fighting for movement, life fitness, healthy lifestyle, against childhood/adult obesity against inhibiting habits.

I AM A FIRST TIMER, CAN I REALLY DO THIS RACE?

Each participant needs to accept responsibility in determining whether they are sufficiently fit and healthy enough to safely participate in a Triathlon and that they will be sufficiently fit and physically trained to participate in any Triathlon which they elect to enter and that they have conferred with a medical doctor who has agreed to their participation in the Event.

Most participants will be able to complete the super sprint distance triathlon - .25 mile (400 yard) Swim, 9 mile Bike and 1.5 mile Run. Most participants, even inexperienced athletes - should be able to prepare adequately for these distances especially with the help of Mary Meyer Life Fitness Clinics, Lectures and workouts. The key is to start training now, do not procrastinate. Give yourself a minimum of 10 weeks training. Of course, training for a longer period of time will help improve finish times, technique and experience.

MAY I DO THE RACE IF I AM PREGNANT?

Check with your physician prior to completing an entry form.
